Drones: emerging Applications and Future Trends

The Indian government has recently announced the Drone Rules, 2021, as well as a production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for drones and associated component manufacturing. The liberalised regime seeks to make India a global hub for drone production, with commercial and industrial uses predominantly in logistics, agriculture, mining, infrastructure, surveillance, emergency response, transportation, and healthcare, among other areas.

The session aims at bringing thought leaders of Europe-India business corridor together to discuss the emerging trend, application of drones, infrastructure incentives, technology commercialisation and policy framework for drones in India in contrast to global trends.

The session is curated for Indian Startups actively working on drones and related hardware & software technologies. Technology enthusiast and experts interested in the space.
