December 2014 saw a Polish Mining delegation visit Kolkata consisting of senior officials from seven companies namely JSW S.A., purchase SIGMA S.A., case BUDWAK Sp. z o.o., BZUG Sp. z o.o., Becker-Warkop Sp. z o.o., KOPEX S.A. and FAMUR S.A. The delegation was led by Mr. Tomasz Wi?niewski, Counsellor in the Economic Section, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in India.
EBTC organised B2B meetings for the Polish companies with Indian companies on 15th December 2014, followed by factory visits and further meetings on 18th and 19th December 2014. These visits and meetings are expected to lead to important co-operations on the table in the near future. Experts on the ground, Mr. Suman Lahiri, Regional Director and Mr. Som Sekhar Ganguly, Business Development Executive from EBTC Kolkata accompanied the delegation.

EBTC actively participated at the 26th edition of Pollutec - an exhibition that brings together professionals from around the world to discuss innovative solutions that allow the reduction of the impact of human activities on the environment, viagra 100mg in industry, page local authorities and in the service sector. The event took place at Eurexpo in Lyon, France from 2nd to 5th December 2014.

EBTC and IVL Sweden explore Leh and Kargil to understand the issue of Solid Waste Management in the region

Solid Waste Management is an area that is causing concern across much of India. From sorting solid waste, illness to indentifying and transporting it to appropriate dumping grounds and processing the solid waste bearing in mind the growing population, medications are just some of the challenges faced by authorities.
Recently, EBTC along with its partner IVL Sweden organised a cleantech mission in the month of October 2014 in the towns of Leh and Kargil. The team of four - included two experts from Sweden - Mr. Rony Arnberg and Mr. Jan-Olove Sundqvist, and Mr. Monish Verma and Mr. Suman Lahiri from EBTC.
