EBTC at Pollutec 2014

EBTC actively participated at the 26th edition of Pollutec - an exhibition that brings together professionals from around the world to discuss innovative solutions that allow the reduction of the impact of human activities on the environment, in industry, local authorities and in the service sector. The event took place at Eurexpo in Lyon, France from 2nd to 5th December 2014.

This event  presented an important opportunity to network and promote India as a business destination to  exhibitors and showcase to exhibitors and other companies that attended precisely how EBTC can help them in their India entry strategy. The event saw over 2200 exhibitors that presented their innovative technologies. It was attended by over 62000 visitors and 450 conferences were held

The 4 day exhibition saw EBTC take part in ‘Green Days’ B2B matchmaking session, which resulted in over 30 companies seeking advice from the representatives of EBTC and EUROCHAMBRES in their internationalisation strategies towards India and other emerging markets. Mr. Fernandes met and received interest from many companies in the energy, water and water treatment and sustainable cities sectors.

The event saw important dignitaries address the audience. During the opening ceremony, Ms Ségolène Royal (French Minister of Environment, Energy and Sustainable Development) underlined the importance of new technologies in the environment sector, offering companies the chance to grow and expand. During the VIP party on the second day, Mr. Gerard Collomb (Senator-Mayor of Lyon and President of Greater Lyon), welcomed the Ivory Coast, who were the special guest this year. 

The next Pollutec event will take place from 29th November to 2nd December 2016 at Euroexpo, Lyon.
